One Country Give will be contributing its third 10,000 meal donations across the U.S. to the Central California Food Bank, a Feeding America affiliate since 1992.
According to the Central California food bank, they provide food to more than 220 agencies in Fresno, Madera, Kings, Kern and Tulare counties and serve over 280,000 people monthly.
Each year, the Central California food bank distributes over 40 million pounds of food in an area where one in seven people struggles with hunger, according to Feeding America.
In 2020, 97% of expenses went to feeding hungry individuals, 73% of the food provided was donated and 48% of the food supplied was fruits and vegetables, reported the Central California food bank.
By giving just $10, you can help feed a family of four for a week and for every $1 donated, up to seven meals can be provided.
