In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the country music community is stepping up to provide crucial support to those affected by the devastating storm. One Country has partnered with country music star Thomas Rhett to make a $10,000 donation to Feeding America. This contribution is helping fuel Feeding America’s ongoing disaster relief efforts, providing food, supplies, and hope to communities impacted by Hurricane Helene.
Feeding America’s disaster response efforts are currently underway, and the nonprofit organization has been working tirelessly to bring critical resources to the areas hardest hit by the storm. The $10,000 donation will directly support Feeding America’s relief efforts, ensuring that vital food and supplies reach families who need them most.
The donation is part of a larger partnership with Thomas Rhett, where one lucky winner will get the keys to TR’s custom 1978 Ford Bronco. When we asked TR what organization he would like us to donate to on behalf of the prize campaign, he was quick to say he wanted to help hurricane victims through Feeding America. We’re proud to join him in spreading awareness about the important work this organization is doing.
Feeding America's disaster response is essential in times of crisis, especially following major natural disasters like hurricanes. As the network of food banks across the country mobilizes to meet the needs of those impacted by Hurricane Helene, Feeding America has already deployed 142 truckloads of supplies to 15 food banks across six states, ensuring that communities are receiving the nourishment and resources they require to rebuild and recover.
In addition to responding to Hurricane Helene, Feeding America’s network was proactive in preparing for the path of Hurricane Milton, sending disaster relief packs and supplies to food banks in the storm's projected path before it made landfall. This foresight and preparation are a testament to the organization’s commitment to ensuring that no one goes without food or essentials in the aftermath of a disaster.
Rhett’s support, along with the $10,000 donation, is helping Feeding America expand its reach and provide even more resources to communities in need. The funds will go toward providing food, water, and other essential supplies to hurricane survivors as they begin the long process of recovery.
