One Country Give will be making its second 10,000 meal donations across the U.S. to the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, a Feeding America affiliate since 1988.
According to the NWA Food Bank, over 15.5 million pounds and 13.25 million meals were distributed in 2020 through more than 135 partner agencies ranging from food pantries, food kitchens, shelters and more.
The NWA Food Bank serves four different counties, Benton, Carol, Washington and Madison as well as 14 different mobile pantry locations, which provides food insecure individuals with food, protein and produce at centralized meeting places.
95% of monetary donations go directly toward food purchase according to the NWA Food Bank, and for every $1 you donate, the NWA Food Bank can provide up to eight meals for members in the community where $65,000 people are experiencing food insecurity. .
